The Adoption Process

When we have received and reviewed your application, we will call you or email you with any questions and discuss the process of adopting a GMAL pup.

Payment

After confirmation and acceptance of your application payment of $500.00 is to be made to secure your placement to receive a GMAL pup. The balance of $3000 will be due two weeks prior to your puppy going home, once your Pet Adoption Agreement has been issued and a completed agreement returned.

Please note as of January 1, 2025, our pet puppy price will be increasing to $3,800.00 any applications received and approved by GMAL before 12/31/2024 will honor our current $3,500.00 pricing for their puppy.

Applicable State Sales tax will be charged. Receipt of application and deposit does not guarantee puppy placement until confirmed by GMAL by email.

Application

We must receive your completed application and deposit to be considered for a GMAL puppy.

Visitation Policy

No puppy visits can be done – this is for many reasons including Covid-19 and the health of our puppies and Moms. (Sorry, no exceptions, please don’t ask).

Puppy Selection

“Puppy pick weekend” is determined at date of birth (it is approximately at week 6 or 7 and may go home at week 8) and “the pick order” is determined by the date of accepted complete applications, date of received deposits, and at the sole discretion of GMAL.

Delivery

Delivery date and arrangements are decided based on puppy readiness. Delays to picking up your new puppy from the scheduled pick-up date will incur additional costs. Special delivery at an additional “cost” can be arranged and must be pre-approved by GMAL.

Pet Adoption Agreement / Fees

The Pet Adoption Agreement and fees must be submitted and paid in full no later than 14 days prior to release by GMAL and puppy pick up.
